Copy Base with GeoLocation Coordinates

I primarily work in AutoCAD. A client is providing linework in .kmz format. The only way I know to import KMZ's to AutoCAD is through AutoCAD Maps 3D. I have both my AutoCAD drawing and AutoCAD Maps 3D drawing set to the same geolocated coordinate system. Now, I want to copy the line work from my Maps 3D drawing to my AutoCAD drawing. However, the 0,0 base point seems to be different in each drawing, so I am having trouble copying them at the same location.

Is there a way to copy base using the geolocation coordinates such that I can be confident the linework is in the correct location?

May I ask why you don't want to continue working in MAP3D?
"autocad" is already there, is it just a matter of moving your custom content on screen?
Or setting up a custom workspace?

Thank you for the response @pendean. While that is a good recommendation, we already have a majority of this projects' drawings set up in the one drawing and most members of the team don't have MAP3D. I'd like to just take the lines that I have in MAP3D and insert them into my other drawing.

If the AutoCAD drawing is TRULY, PROPERLY georeferenced, the low cost GeoLocPlus tool will import your KML/KMZ content (and other formats) directly into AutoCAD.

FWIW everyone with an AutoCAD subscription has access to Map3D for free, its a built-in perk, if buying a solution (the other real fix) as noted above is not an option.

Good luck.
