Convert mesh to surface NOT working - union is OK

Hi guyes, trying to figure out what is the difference in converting mesh to surface between command _convtosurface and _union. Union will convert my mesh with no problem - but I have to convert them one by one and it is time consuming. On the other hand _convtosurface command can possibly convert more objects at once, but simply it does not work 🙂 

I would like to have the possibility to convert more meshes to more surfaces at once.
