Convert an arc to a spline

I have 2 Lwpolylines as profiles for a Loft. i have an arc as a path but it won't let.

Maybe because the arc isn't a spline?

What shape are you trying to create? 

if you are trying to create this shape you have to use revolve. Choose on side and then the center line. 

It can also be created by selecting one side and sweeping the path of the arc.

Please do not cross post in the forums.  I answered your question in your other thread and hope that the solution works for you too. It is difficult to say since I don't have the same (older) version of AutoCAD installed.

Using the revolve works too but will not allow you the transitions from one profile to the other.
