Centerline Default Settings

In the 2019 version of AutoCAD, there is a tool that automatically adds a centerline in between two selected lines. That centerline has modifiable end points that extend past the edges of the object (typical for a centerline). My question is how do I change the default length of those extensions? Can I also change the length of the short line in the middle? Obviously, I can modify it every time I do an individual centerline, but that's going to get tedious. Is there a place I can change this default to fit the ANSI of .25 inches past? If so, where?

Thank you for any feedback.

Hi,

>>>there<<< you can find all the system variables you can define for center-line.

As these variables are all stored in a dwg-file you can open your template, edit these settings and save back this drawing as your new template.
