burst block but retain clip boundaries

Is there any way to retain clipped boundaries when bursting? Every time I burst blocks with clipped box, everything outside the boundaries would appear. Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

I don't use this command very often so I don't have a ready answer.  If you can share on of your files however, I am happy to investigate this for you.

You can try EXPLODEALL (need a free registration) which can explode blocks and trim off its subentities out of the clip boundary.

Hi John,

I should rephrase my question to how to burst block without revealing what's outside the clip boundary. I've attached a file as an example. Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the file. I have a better idea of what you are looking for when bursting the Xclip.  I have not found  a native way to do this yet but do see there is an app in the Autodesk App Store that is designed to do this.

Hi @Anonymous,

i am curious to see if you tried the app I linked to in the App Store. I am hoping that worked for you.
