System Setup: Lenovo X1 Thinkpad Yoga GEN 6 / Windows 10-64bit: Running AutocadLT-2021.1.1 / R.154.0.0
My issue similarly to the people who previously mentioned is that the touchpad and the lenovo trackpoint center mouse & associated buttons (i have a middle button, it doesnt work traditionally in this app, like say a mouse click down typically does) do not respond to either 2 finger drag panning. I have tried the hot patch (as this worked previously on my autocad lt for mac, same issue as this one), the mbutton pan command, the hot key combinations, and the select mode toggling. (this appears to be all of the available options i have seen with relevant issues). The same pinch and 2 finger drag commands work on the actual touch screen but the keyboard/touchpad/touchbutton mouse combinations result in the same issue of having the 2 finger action merely zoom in and out. I normally agree that one should use a mouse / or the pan command but realistically that's not the ultimate solution (for me), as i travel and i would rather just have the 2 finger operation for say a plane. Has anyone achieved anything concrete here? Or alternatively, has anyone upgraded to 2022 and had this problem disappear for windows-10/autocad-LT users? Thanks!
Works fine for me on my Lenovo touchscreen using two fingers to pan in R2018 in Win10: zoom in is accomplished with a two finger pinch (and whatever you call a reverse pinch to zoom out).
HELP says:
"Pan and Zoom With a Touch Pad
If you use a touch pad, you can use gestures to pan and zoom.
Zoom in. Slide thumb and index finger apart.
Zoom out. Pinch thumb and index finger together.
Pan. Swipe with two fingers in the direction that you want to pan the view."
Do you have the Touch Mode tab in the Ribbon? Is it activated? It needs to be and the button on it triggered.
