AutoCAD - Scrolling "issue" when using Insert command

Hi All,

I received a recent question from a client that I cannot find the answer to. I was hoping maybe one of you knew the answer.

After using the INSERT command you are able to scroll through a list of blocks in the Insert window by using the mouse click wheel while hovering over the ‘Name’ slot. Once you take your mouse off of the ‘Name’ slot you cannot scroll through the list anymore. (Or at least that is how my computer and how our client’s office computer behaves).

This client says he is able to scroll through the list of blocks using the click wheel when the mouse is anywhere on the screen on his home computer. He said he would like to find out how to do this on his office computer.

I was not able to find any information or able to replicate this.

Please let me know if any of you know how to change this setting.

I'm not able to replicate it either. Perhaps it has to do with the mouse driver. I'm using a Logitech mouse but not using Setpoint, just windows drivers.

They probably need to install the same exact mouse, mouse driver, and mouse driver setting at the office to replicate the effect (assuming AutoCaD and Win versions are all 100% identical as well).
