Hi,

Is there anyway to change the appearance of Autocad menu from "tileblocks" to "text menu"?

Map 3D has a "Classic Workspace". Check your workspaces to see if your product includes such a workspace. If not, you can create your own. First create a new workspace. Then, set MENUBAR to 1 and run the RIBBONCLOSE command. You may need to edit the cui to add menus to the menu bar.

Hi @Anonymous,

There are some options for you regarding the interface.  The small down arrow on the right side of my image will let you collapse/expand the Ribbon as desired. In addition, the little arrow at the left side of my image shows where you can enable the Menu bar.

I hope this helps.

@john.vellek's way works fine, or you can set menubar to 1 or add the line (setvar "menubar" 1) to your acaddoc.lsp to force the menu on always.
