Usually when that happens to me, I need to adjust the ltscale in increments until I see a change. Change it from .1 to 100 in small increments (or have you done that already?)

Check your MSLTSCALE. Set to "0" and see if that helps.

What are your settings for CELTSCALE, LTSCALE and MSLTSCALE in that problem file? Hint: a setting of 1 is a good place to start, REGENALL after making any changes.

How big is your drawing titleblock going to be? Your ltscale will play a part in that. Will you be scaling your titleblock up, or using paper space to facilitate views?

How long is your line?
How far away fom 0,0,0 is your line?

If you zoom in real close and REGENALL do you see the dashed?
If you select the line does PROPERTIES list it as dashed? Does PROPERTIES show the LINETYPE SCALE as 1.0 or something else?

Do you just need to reload your linetypes?

You seem unable to answer ALL questions, try again?
Or give us your DWG file so we can take a look at it ourselves.

Select line and change the linetype scale in the properties dialog box to 1. Then the other question is how big will your drawing be?

What do you mean with 'how big'? How many bytes?

you can select the line, right click and choose properties. Your ltscale for this line was set to 0.01. This pic is what it looks like when I set it to 10

Your default ltscale for each entity is set to 0.001. That is really small. Setting ltscale at entity level is not something I recommend as this causes issues like this.

Highlight the line. Bring up properties and set the LTSCALE for that entity to 1.0

Good luck
