AutoCad 2022 Lost Workspaces

I have both AutoCad 2022 and 2023.  For some strange reason AutoCad 2022 had stopped using my workspace or even listing it as a selectable workspace.  I have no menus or tabs at the top of the screen.  When I use AutoCad 2023 it works just fine and I am able to keep working using AutoCad 2023.  If I cannot get AutoCad 2022 to work, I will have to change all of my Windows AutoCad shortcuts to use AutoCad 2023 although I really would like to get AutoCad 2022 to work and use my personal workspace.

Check to make sure that the main cui is the proper one. Sometimes AutoCAD can loose the main cui. If you can't find it, use the command in the Start Menu>AutoCAD 2022>Reset Settings to Default

Have you tried resetting 2022?

Never had one disappear on me, was the Main cuix file replaced?

Where is the *cui file and is it acad.cui, maybe acad, cuix?  I have been rebuilding my cuix file from scratch and now my problems are menu's that are listed in the cuix file but do not show up on the screen.  I also seem to have lost my custom tool pallets that I rely on.  I am not sure what they are called or where they are.  Once I get my cuix finished I am definitely making a backup copy.

CUI refers to the interface, while cuix refers to the file that stores the interface.

When the "bug" you experienced causes your acad.cuix to go blank, you can recover the default acad.cuix using the command I showed you in post 2. Then you just need to reload your partial menus via the CUI editor or using the MENULOAD command.

You can also find acad.cuix in the UserDataCache folder. It is used to create a new profile.

Thank you very much.  I will do as you suggest and as I have almost finished re-creating my custom cuix file except for the menu problem I will use menuload to get mt partial menu's loaded.
