AutoCAD 2016 batch plot salt and pepper issue

I am using AutoCAD 2016, ever since we started working from home I've had this issue with batch plot. It is on my end. I know this because when I send it to others they can batch plot without issue. I have not changed setting that I know of, only difference is that I am now at home using vpn for license. No idea how that could cause the issue.

It is random. It could be an adobe issue, but when other people open what I batch plot the issue is still there. I have searched and unable to find a solution. Please help.

Is your screenshot from an open PDF file in your PDF viewer? Which PDF viewer is it? Did you try a different PDF viewer yet?
Which PDF driver are you using in AutoCAD to create the PDF?
Is everyone in your office also using SHX fonts? Or just you?
Are you using a plot style table? Is everyone else?

Is the problem just this one file, or ALL of your files?

Is your screenshot from an open PDF file in your PDF viewer? Yes. Used the Snipping Tool

Which PDF viewer is it? Did you try a different PDF viewer yet? Using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Which PDF driver are you using in AutoCAD to create the PDF? Unsure, when I use batch plot it happens. When I do the print to Adobe PDF it prints fine but I do so many documents with multiple sheets it is difficult to use. When I plot with DWG to PDF the issue comes. If I didn't answer the question, let me know how I can find that out for you.
Is everyone in your office also using SHX fonts? Or just you? Everyone uses the same fonts, these are our standards. 
Are you using a plot style table? Is everyone else? I would imagine I am, I copied that table from another dwg I made when I did not have the issue. I do not know for certain.
Is the problem just this one file, or ALL of your files? All files I have tested so far this happens to me. I try and batch plot dwgs made by others and I get the same result. It is on my end, somewhere in a setting I must have messed up. Just not sure where yet.

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

It sounds like your layouts may not have been set up with plot settings for AutoCAD to use when batch plotting, so it is defaulting to the basic plot settings. 

Try setting up your plot settings for your layouts in AutoCAD, then select Plotter named in page setup under the Publish to option in the PUBLISH dialog window. See the following Autodesk Knowledge Network (AKN) articles for more information:
