AutoCAD 2013 specific color doesn't plot

I hope I can explain my issue correctly....

I use the color magenta for different specific layers, set to print black.  It doesn't seem to matter which layer I use it for but it never plots.  For instance, I have an elevation layer that uses magenta, a plan layer -- it doesn't plot out if the layer is assigned the color magenta.  If I change the color of that specific layer to anything else, yes it will plot.  If I set up a new layer and assign magenta to it, it will not print.  Magenta is the only color I have an issue with; every single other color works correctly.

I have checked up and down, the plot settings for those layers are set to print, I've checked everything I can think of.

Any ideas?  One layer I use it for is rather vital.

Thanks

Hi @Anonymous,

Have you been able to do the eTransmit? Or, if you like, I can send you a private upload area so I can examine the file(s).

Thanks for checking back.  I haven't had the chance, my apologies, but for the moment it seems to be working properly.  I'm not sure why or what's different.  I will come back if I find the issue again.  Thank you for your offer of assistance, I greatly appreciate it.

Ok, I'm back!  In this particular drawing that I've attached, it's the layer ELEV-MAGENTA.  The layer is viewable in model space but disappears in paper space.  I'm very interested to learn why this happens.

Thanks so much!

Becky

You confused a lot of readers by saying it's only a color that can't print. it's a layer got FROZEN thru the viewport.

Well now I feel stupid.  It wasn't like that before and everything is normally on, otherwise I would not have come to the forum.  Thanks for pointing that out!
