Some layers display with plot style in paper space, but not when printed

Hi, I've been experiencing this issue for a while and done a lot of troubleshooting on my own, but haven't been able to figure out a solution.

Basically, I have several layers in a CAD file I got from an architect that are on and that I can see in the paper space, but that disappear from the drawing when it's printed to PDF. See my screenshots below.

Here is a screenshot of my layers with three of the layers in question called out

If it helps in troubleshooting, this happened earlier on in the process and then stopped being a problem. I'm not sure exactly why it stopped, but it started again after I turned some other layers back on.

I'm using AutoCAD LT 2025 for Mac. Please let me know if there's any other information or screenshots that would be helpful.

Thank you

Additional information: My drawing is referencing a second drawing which is referencing a third drawing that has the layers in question on it.

If you can share these dwgs for community to review, then run the eTransmit command to package all the xrefs into a single file and post that here

So when I open your Shelby.dwg on my AutoCAD 2026 for Windows immediately I get the following alert:

Then I click on the Recover button and the following window appears:

Now when I do a PLOT PREVIEW of your BACKYARD layout I see everything:

I've attached the pdf & the saved dwg repackaged.

Perhaps on your Mac in a blank dwg run the RECOVER command and select your Shelby.dwg and see if that helps.
