Layers not publishing in AutoCAD for Mac

Hi - I'm having this same problem: missing xref layers when I use BATCHPLOT but showing up fine when I use PRINT. The missing layers are unfrozen and set to plot in all files involved.

Is there a way ensure BATCHPLOT is using "print as displayed" as the plot style?

Thanks.

@ilporte is your background publishing setting still turned on? Turn it off as a test right now then try BATCHPLOT again, see if your missing content issue goes away.

@pendeanI'm sorry I don't know how to access that setting! I'm on AutoCAD for Mac - should have included that in the context.

What does the background publishing setting do?

@ilporte You are in the wrong forum for your product variant: AutoCAD for Mac's dedicated forum is over here

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-forum/bd-p/autocad-mac-forum-en

I'll see if I can get an admin to move your posts there in the meantime.

Hi @ilporte ,

Please specify your autoCAD for Mac version and macOS installed on your Mac.

Where are the Xref files located? Are they on the local disk or on a network drive?

You may also verify this:

PDF files created via Batch Publish don't show External references (Xref) in AutoCAD for Mac

Thanks @maxim_k - I'll definitely try the solutions at that link. I'm using autoCAD 2025 version V.100.M.416 and macOS Sequoia 15.4.1.

-EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command generated a new file that worked fine with batch publishing. Thank you!
