Random lines in transparent hatch when exporting to pdf

Hi,

I'm working with Autocad 2016 on Mac and there are random diagonal lines on all the hatches that have transparency when I print to PDF.

How do I fix this?

Thanks for your help.

The problem isn't fixed.

I put the HPMAXLINES to 1000000. I am not sure about the GRAPHICSCONFIG, there is no ''basic mode'' option. The options are acceleration/degradation/general options...

I tried to export the same drawing from a PC using DWG to PDF.pc3 and it works fine. Maybe the problem is with the plotter on Mac?(There is no DWG to PDF.pc3 on Mac, isn't it?)

Thank you,

Hi @Anonymous

Yes, there is such defect (bug) in AutoCAD 2016 for Mac.

Please try this workaround:

https://macacad.wordpress.com/2013/04/03/workaround-for-printing-solid-hatches-with-transparency-in-autocad-for-mac/

BTW, since 2019 version AutoCAD for Mac uses the same PDF engine as AutoCAD for Windows and there is no such issue in AutoCAD 2019, 2020 and 2021.
