Hi,

Yesterday, my MacBook crashed with all my illustrator files. Fast i make a backup with time machine and use my pendrive. Apparently my pendrive dont have sufficient space and the backup stop, the mac erase all the files from the computer and my pendrive. I buy a EaseUS restore program, and they restore the files, but the files dont open. Damage alerts and notifications about files incompatibility.
files end with: “dwl” “tmop” & “t”

i need helllllp

Only i want to rescue one file, for my final tesis.

Hi @shelimar.cruz1

DWL files are just temporary lock files which AutoCAD writes to your current folder in order to keep your drawing from being edited by someone else. So they don't have any graphical information and restoring them wouldn't help you.

As about other files you restored with EaseUS - they contain only scraps of information and unfortunately cannot serve as a basis for restoring drawings. Sorry, but looks like you lost your drawings....

For future - backup your work to external storage as often as possible!
