Problem with pan and zoom commands

Hi,

I'm using autocad for mac with the trackpad, the zoom and pan commands are not working properly. When I move the two fingers together on the trackpad sometimes the pan command works and sometimes the zoom command works. Can someone help me?

Hi,

Do you have some 3-rd party applications first Trackpad on your Mac? Such as MagicPrefs.

If you hold Option key while moving two fingers on the Trackpad, AutoCAD will zoom instead of pan. Maybe the case of the issue is that you accidentally press Option key while using two finger gesture?

While I hold the Option key while moving my two fingers on the trackpad, sometimes zoom works and sometimes the pan works. I mean one command for pan and zoom, AutoCad decides which will work, not me. That`s the problem. 😕

I already read about this issue with Trackpad gesture here on the Forum, but personally I haven't seen it in my practice.
Not sure, but maybe resetting AutoCAD may help you.

Same problem here!

It changes all the time the command between pan and zoom.

How did you solve it?

Hi,

I didn't solve it, but after some time using the program, this error stopped. Sometimes it still happens, but it is unusual.

Good Luck,

As a reference for anyone else reading..

As suggested above I have just closed the files I am working on, quit AutoCAD and restarted and it fixed it.

This is AutoCAD LT.
