Monterrat fine printing in bold

The Montserrat font I've used in a logo for my title block displays in 'fine' in model space, in layout and in pdf when it is exported. However, it prints in bold which I do not want! I have read numerous support group posts but cannot seem to find a way to fix it. Thanks

Hi @20231236 ,

Please specify your AutoCAD for Mac version and macOS version installed on your Mac.

Have you installed latest Update to AutoCAD for Mac?

Do you see the same issue if you print your drawing to PDF file?

Is the Montserrat font a paid-for font? As in you cannot share it with others?
Or is your PDF / printer driver not actually set to capture fonts?

The font might be getting replaced by another font the PDF viewer is using as it cannot find your Montserrat font. That looks way more that just bolding a skinny letter to me

Hi @20231236 ,

I found this font among Google fonts.

If you got this font from there, which one exactly did you install?

If it is Variable Font - Montserrat-VariableFont_wght.ttf, then most likely it will not work correctly when printing from AutoCAD. Regular font could show as bold in PDF output or when you print directly to printer / plotter.
