I am experiencing a problem by printing my document. my standard plot style is that color 254 will convert into 50,50,50. Therefore I draw most lines in 254 (as usual).
Whenever I go to print and set the settings to print with shading realistic or as displayed, the plot style will not transfer them. I would like to print the surfaces in color and the lines/text in 50,50,50 as it does in shading wireframe. How can I solve this problem? (see video)

Hi @maxwinkens ,
Can you share your drawing here?
Hi @maxwinkens ,
One of the ways - use Layout for printing.
Put all texts and other annotations in Paper space, create two viewports with Realistic Visual style for colored details (adjust scale as you need).
See attached DWG.
I tried everything right now and I can not find any solution to simply print with black text. It alway stays 254, the only amateuristic solution is exporting it in two files and overlap them in Pages/Word. What a disappointment for Acad For Mac
Did you even try Maxim's solutions?
Your problem is super easy to fix, in many different ways. I looked at your file, and what I did was use a layout with a viewport to print to PDF. You double-click the viewport, and in the layer manager you change the colours of the layers (the viewport colours, not the main ones) where you need to use a different colour (I put your texts to the 003_text layer, and lines to lines layer. Why did you put everything on 0?)

Give up already? This is your culprit, I can't see that you shared it here at all
I can get BLACK letters and lines everywhere by just using the stock MONOCHROME.CTB, so there is nothing wrong with the program, just your chosen (or missed) pen settings in that CTB
Try again, tips already provided in the many posts here.
