Insert Table Mac AutoCad 2015

Greetings,

I have looked through youtube, linda.com, google... I can't find a solution for this issue.

I need to insert a table for Planting Details for landscape design. But when I click on "Draw" then "Table" it

just wants me to pick a first point, then a second point. The Table is tiny and the text is not scaled correctly.

I can't find the properties tab so that I can insert the exact number of rows and columns , and the size text I need.

PLEASE HELP! I'll stay logged into this forum hoping for an answer....

Sincerely,

student.

Yes! That does help. This is my screen shot... I found the properties inspector... but the columns and rows is still "greyed" out. ? I just figured out I can "scale" it up and it does scale the text with it too. Is this just a limitation of the mac version??

In AutoCAD you can set the number of rows and columns only during creation by dragging the mouse after you pick insertion point.
You cannot adjust number of columns / rows in Properties palette, this is "by design" and the numbers you see in the palette are for information only.
You can add / delete columns / rows via Table Visor which activates when you pick inside the sell and it highlights with the border.

Okay, I think I understand. When I pick a point .... hmm... what command do I use to set the number of columns and rows?

Okay, I read that solution again. It seems like in the other versions of auto cad that some of the other versions (may PC ) that it allows them to choose the number of rows and columns etc. Is that right ??

Yes, you can set the number of rows - columns in PC version of AutoCAD during creation in "Insert table" dialog.
But in AutoCAD for Mac there is no such dialog and you can set number of rows - columns during table creation only by dragging mouse (dynamically on screen) after you pick the insertion point.
In AutoCAD for Windows you cannot adjust the number of rows / columns in Properties palette as in AutoCAD for Mac.
