Hi @Anonymous
See the compatibility/system requirements, Autocad is not yet compatible with Monteray. I don't believe it has anything to do with the M1 architecture in your case.
Just for futur reader, i've been using Autocad LT 2021 on my base macbook air with M1 (with 8gb RAM and 7core) for a few month now. It run really great on Rosetta even with heavy CAD and few other light app open.
I use Windows 11 on parallels as well at the same time for Bluebeam Revu (PDF software) and no lag so far.

Any updates a year later?
Updates about what?
A year has passed since comments were written here that you're working on it - any idea when there might be a release for M1?

Hi @victoria28T8Q ,
AutoCAD works great on a Mac with M1 chip under Rosetta 2 mode, so it is really supported.
I don’t think you will see any significant improvements in the AutoCAD performance after adding native ARM support to it.
Does AutoCad for Mac have all the features of AutoCad for Windows?
Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

No.
For more information please have a look here:
It’s about time for Autodesk to get serious about full compatibility with M1 Apple products given they’re providing great quality performance while Autodesk only keeps providing a Light version of AutoCAD with compatibility only through Rosseta 2.
what about full AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio, etc. ?
Now we have M2 silicon chip.
Apple environment is great on multiple devices but Autodesk isn’t yet taking full advantage of it.
Please do so.
That’s two years ago.
Along came m1 PRO, MAX, ULTRA an now we have M2 chip and still waiting for that full compatibility.
Even just Mac compatibility of most of Autodesk products.
