AutoCAD 2024, 2026 only half of screen viewport after macOS Tahoe

It's always disappointing when a company the size of Autodesk doesn't do his job and test the widely announced newest macOS release. Months of time to correct any bugs, but still you choose to wait and see what happens.

UPDATE 09/26:

The solution proposed by @kclarkePZWHD is the most easier and elegant.
But it can be even simpler:
There’s no need to undock the Palettes or move the command line bar.
Just grab the right side of the command line bar (Picture 1)  and drag it to the end of the screen, passing behind the docked palettes (Picture 2).
Release and done.

Hi @garett_rowe273 ,

In your screenshot I noticed that you still haven't installed the 2026.0.1 Update.

Not sure that it will help to correct the problem with Tahoe, but anyway...

As for me, I am never in a hurry to install a newly released macOS, usually it still has a lot of bugs.

Hi.
Installed by itself unfortunately as the newer versions of macOS are doing lately.

I manually installed the patch that you mentioned, but my version number is still the same than the one in the screenshot.

Problem persists anyway.

@garett_rowe273 ,

For the future: turn off Automatic Updates in macOS System Settings:

Not sure what you mean by "manually installed", but if you installed it, you should see:

 but not this (from your screenshot):

Why does it matter if we update early or not? at this price point and with the beta out for months, it's their duty to ensure your software is compatible.

Is there a partial solution? it extremely inconvenient

Thank you, @maxim_k .
I installed the latest patch successfully this time, but the issue is still there.

Set ALL Palettes to FLOAT instead of docking. Seems to fix for me at least for the moment.

@garett_rowe273 ,

This Update fixes issues with macOS Sequoia, but not with Tahoe.

I only mentioned it because I noticed that you don't have this update installed.

For now - let's wait for a new Update from Autodesk.

Here the same thing happened to me… One solution I got was to leave the flap of Layers and Properties floatingly.

It’s inconceivable that a software giant the size of Autodesk hasn’t tested the compatibility of its software with the new Mac OS release. It shows little regard for users. Once the product is sold through subscription and the cash is in, what happens afterwards seems to matter very little

Anche io stesso problema da tutto il giorno. In più non riesco a tracciare linee nei punti precisi che indico ma il puntatore sembra "fluttuare"
