LayerFilterComboControl is missing in 2017

LayerFilterComboControl Feature seems to be missing in ACA 2017.  Can you please confirm and fix ASAP!

Thank you for reporting this here in the community. I tested and confirmed the issue, and will log it directly with the development team so that we can investigate a fix to add it back into the program. It looks like it's missing from core AutoCAD as well, not just ACA.

This same issue has happened before. Seems that every year something that used to work is broke on release.

Is there any update on this? I can't deploy autocad to all of my users until everything is working. So right now this is costing me money.

So, a little more than a month, but no fix.  Any possiblity this will be corrected in a timely fashion?

I am by no means a programmer but if you search for layerfiltercombocontrol in the 2016 files it is found more times and in more files than in 2017.

The culprit looks like either acwindows.dll or acdashboard.arx. Since acdashboard.arx is totally missing that might be the first place to start. Anyone have a 2017 aca installed version? Might need the registry entry as well. If I have time I'll do a full Premium install on a dummy machine and see what changes since layfiltercombocontrol seems to be preset there according to reports.

Maybe we can fix this on our own?

I was sad to see that the latest AutoCAD 2017 Service Pack 1 did not resolve this issue.

I still cannot resolve this issue on a machine I just reinstalled the os on.  I haven't upgraded in a couple of years.  One machine at work has service pack 1 built on n.402.0.0 ACAD 2017.1.2.  That has the layerfiltercombocontrol.  The machine I just resintalled has sp1 built on N.52.0.0 AutoCAD 2017.  Can someone help with this?

Is there a reason why you have not applied the AutoCAD 2017.1.2 update?  It is available in Autodesk Account.

I have AutoCAD Architecture 2017 SP1 (7.9.102.0) built on AutoCAD 2017.1.2 Update (N.402.0.0) and the LayerFilterComboControl is available.

ok.  found it burried in my management portal.  It would not show up under regular downloads at autodesk support.  Very strange.  but thank you for the prompting. also, the worthless Autodesk Desktop App didn't pick it up, either.

PS...is there a way to extend the length of the combo boxes to be of permanent length.
