DeepEXR in Katana

Hello,

I can't seem to get DeepEXR to work properly out of Katana, using the usual ArnoldOutputDefine(AOCD) + RenderOutputDefine(ROD) combo.

On the AOCD, the name, layerName, and channel, I've all named "deep". I've set the "type" to "INT".

On the ROD, "outputName" is "deep", "colorspace" is "raw", "channel" is "deep", and the fileExtension is "exr".

The render finishes fine, and the filesize is pretty big, like you'd expect, but when I bring it into Nuke, I get a "no deep data found in file" error.

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you.

Are you rendering tiled? Try scanline

I've tried both tiled and scanline, both giving me the same result

Here's a simple test scene. Does that work?

This did the trick! Thank you. I was missing a couple of options, like changing the driver to be "driver_deepexr"
