Huge Bug: Ramp RGB and Ramp Float do not work in Solaris and Arnold 7.3.3.1

I think this is a recent bug as this used to work perfectly in the previous Arnold version.

If this worked properly there would be a circular black and white map generated on the grid.

The grid has UVs and the shader is assigned properly.

If I take the exact same grid and the exact same shader and render this outside of LOPs this is what I get:

This bug is not present in the previous Arnold version,

Hey,

This is a regression I introduced when adding the new ramp nodes, it's logged as HTOA-2698 and is fixed in the next hotfix release (hopefully very soon).

In the meantime, you can work around this by manually changing the operator type to the old ramp node like so

(If you don't see the asset name dropdown, you can enable it via "Assets >> Asset Definition Toolbar >> Show Menu Always")

Thanks for reporting this!
