x-particles + Mesh Light

I am hoping to have my xparticles interact with a volume.

You can see below the particles are not interacting with the volume on the left.

I have tried a number of combinations of using xpCache, Alembic export, bake as alembic and connect.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated !

What happens when you increase their exposure?

I'm guessing you are using an atmosphere_volume shader, which does not support emission. You can instance mesh lights instead of emissive spheres, or you can use an Arnold Volume in box mode instead of the atmosphere (make sure you setup volume samples and ray depth).
