Particles with motion blur

Hi, Is it possible to render the new C4D particles with motion blur in Arnold?
Is there anything special to do to make it work?
I can't get motion blur in IPR or in the Picture viewer.

Thanks in advance,

Vector motion blur (using the velocity vector) should render by default in the Picture Viewer. Because of a limitation, motion blur in the IPR only available if you cache the simulation.

You can also add an Arnold tag to the Particle Group and scale the velocity vector or change from vector motion blur to position based motion blur (taking the position of the particle in subframes), but that also requires to cache the simulation.

Hi Peter, thank you very much for the detailed explanation, I have been able to find the workflow for particles thanks to your explanation and I have already included it in my latest work. C4D has become very powerful now with the new particle system which is quite easy to use.

Cheers
