exclude object from motion blur

Not applicable

Hi !

is it possible to exclude an object from motion blur in a scene (or in other words to prevent motion blur to be applied on it ?) I tried unchecking motion-blur enable tick on the arnold object parameter tag but still the object is motion blurred

That should be it. What type of object is it? Could the motion blur come from a moving camera? You can disable camera motion blur in the render settings.

Oh !! thx a lot ! I didn't read it carefully (facepalm) it was the camera motion blur ! it works, (however got to uncheck "re-run simulation etc.." and cache my XP particles geometry that got motion blur applied on, otherwise it crashed)
