Playing with toon shader but I noticed that there is a issue with the edge opacity. I am using the checkered node to create a dash line, but the dash isn't clean in some areas. I have no idea why this is happening.

1 - It does. I created a checkerboard map in photoshop and tiled, when I start to increase the tile number that artifact appears. I also create a gradient ramp and the same issue happens.
2 - The issue start when I start to increase the tiling, like the example here
3 - I tried the 3 options available in 3ds Max, plus a map i created.
4 - I tried with 3 up to 8 up to 16.
5 - Here you have. Forgot to mention that I am using transmission, as I need to see what is behind these objects. ToonShader.zip
Another thing. I am using transmission that I can see the box behind. Works fine when you have 1 box, but as soon you have 2 in front of it I stop seeing it. The transmission Ray depth is at 10 and I still don't see it.
Solved this one with the Arnold modifier.
I managed to get the effect I wanted. Used a Gradient Ramp with an angle and it works fine. Still would be good to understand why we are getting that weird dash line.
