that's the whole point of ass files, not to have all the data in the application (for render optimizations.)

stick with unpacked geo, if wanna access your point values.

It doesn't make sense now. A point cloud proxy is helpful to have an idea what that is. A box cannot do that.

ah ok, point cloud should be possible. i thought you wanna read velocity or color values from the ass file
