Per attached screen shot, please prevent moving / updating detail cut views when updating other cut views from same detail.
Similar to movement of labels, compass marks and messing up dimensions, updating a cut view causes mess by moving other cut views.
Once a cut view is manually moved, dimensions and labels adjusted-updating shall be blocked and not initiated by updating other cut views from same detail.
The picture as you can see is messy. Hopefully this will be considered 'an important' improvement and it will find a place in the busy development team schedule.

While I was reviewing this idea I struggled to reproduce it on a drawing from my side. The views do not move unless the rearrange view command is used on a drawing, and cut symbols have an internal flag that is triggered when the symbol is manually moved, which means that it can have two states:
- automatic (symbol was not moved manually) - it will reevaluate its position and move if needed during update, if it no longer have "room". An example here would be : You have an attached plate (a gusset) that requested a cut. The symbol is placed "above" the gusset. If the gusset size is modified in the model (its size along Y for example is increased), then the symbol will move during update to accommodate the new "above" position, avoiding collision with the element .
- manual (symbol was moved at least once by its grip) - the symbol no longer moves, regardless of what happens around it.
It would be great if you could help me with some examples of those symbols or views moving. It is important to know if this issue appears on shop or GA drawings, manual or automatic cuts, and also the Advance Steel version.
Attached please find a screen shot of a messed dwg during update, model is too large to attach here, but basically as you can see also other users are complaining about same issues-symbols moving, and section views regenerating and moving.

Drawing was created initially last fall before FX2. Dimensions are all messed up.
After XF2 dimensions are more stable, I really appreciate your work making them stable.
The next big thing IMO is to stop default views from regenerating, and moving (!!!) during update.
Please send this screenshot to your product manager for review and comment, he is usually denying any issue that exists in Advance Steel, at least this is what he is reporting to his manager!
I have the contact info of the new CEO of Autodesk, I will probably end up calling him and explain what are the remaining issues with Advance.
