It would be very helpful to add a command to delete the screws, but the holes are not erased. Now the delete command (Autocad) deletes all with the holes.
As shown. The switch is set to "Bolt Type" and selects the screw insertion command. I usually do the top right on the connection objects. If you use "Bolts on Beam" from the "Custom Connections" button in your tools palette you can put holes through multiple parts at the same time. The holes option is in the top pulldown. There's also the one directly below it "Bolts on Plate". That whole group has some neat connections.

I understand that everything is deleted when you use that style of bolted connection. My suggestion is to use the "Bolts on Beam" or "Bolts on Plate" instead so you can have holes only.
