Take defaults of the connection

Good day,

I am trying to Miter 2 angles but it keeps giving me this message:

"Template values not found. Take defaults of the connection.
System exception without special treatment has occurred"

It seems like it is also doing it when I try to insert a baseplate connection to a different model

maybe you wrote us, what version do you use...all updates installed?
Be sure you have full rights in the C:/Programdata folder of Advance Steel

I am using 2019. It is a trial version. I installed it about 2018/12/08. I am a administrator for the PC

becuase your are admin on your pc, it could be possible not to have full rights.
So if you use the right mouse button on the Advance Steel folder, please be sure, the Read/ wright rights are ticked.
Maybe your AstorRules is crashed, so you could go the folder (close AS):

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance Steel 2019\*installed_version"\Steel\Data

delete the Astorrules.mdf and ldf files, and then open the windows program&feature and use the "Repair" of Advance Steel.

If you repair it, the files should be created as new, then restart AS and have a look if it works

The delete and Repair did the trick. Thank you. Any reason this would have crashed?
