Hello to everybody.
I started using Advance Steel two weeks ago.
I modelled all structural members of a stairs, exluding steps and railings. I'd like to know if there is the possibility to automatic model steps and railnigs.
Thank you.

Typical you would use the stair macro and railing macro to achieve the stair flights and railing panels along with some manual modelling, you should see the icons on the home ribbon, about the middle of the screen.
there are also some additional 3rd party tools/plugins for different type of railings and stairs.

Hello,
thank you for the answer. Could you be more specific?
What do you mean with macro?
Where is, exactly, the icon in the ribbon?
Could you give me some links of tool/plugin?
Thank you

High Turci, unless you make industrial installations, you might consider using Revit too. If you make two mutual referred models, you can benefit from the advantages of both softwares for fast modelling....Succes.
High John, what is a third party plug in for AS you might use regarding stairs?
Kind regards,
Willem.
