Reflected Plan

OK. Here's a curly question .. I'm not expecting a solution, but here goes anyway.

I have no problems creating an anchor plan, looking down onto the slab.

But what if I have columns anchored to the underside of the slab (say on level 1), and I want to create an anchor plan of that ??

I know architects often do 'reflected plans' to show the ceiling fixtures and lights. This is basically like holding a mirror under the ceiling and looking at the mirror.

Is there a way to achieve this effect in AS ??

I have changed my view so that im viewing the model from the bottom, then added a camera and produced a stantion layout. As the camera is added with the direction pointer in the desired view i get a reflected view of the anchors.

You mean add a camera looking down? I suppose that could work if I exclude the slab from the details, otherwise it would obscure the base plates.
