Deleted GA drawings after doing a force update

I did some changes in my model, when I force update my GA drawing and it just disappeared. Literally gone from my folder on my server. I have the back up files but not my current drawing that I have have been working on for months.

Is there to fix the link / connection from drawing to model if I use the back up drawing file? I want the changes that I do in the model to be reflected in the GA drawing.

I don't want to start over and recreate a drawing that has months worth of work put into it at this point.

Yes there is, you can re-register the drawing back to the model.

Copy/restore the dwg file back to the details folder, then use the "register documents to model" tool...

Save the model when drawing is registered...!

You might have to update if it goes into the "unknown" category...
