Corner cut on a curved beam?

I have some floor gratings that have a kick flat welded to them, and the kick flat is a curved beam as the floor opening is cut around a cylinder. I need to cut the corner of the ends of the curved beams, but cannot find a way to do it in AS. In my screenshot below I have shown what I want to achieve by modelling a standard Autocad solid (shown in magenta) with the existing AS beam shown next to it.

Does anyone know how I can achieve the the same result as the magenta object using normal AS beam processing?

Hi @Totec_MW

If your kickflat is modelled as a beam element then because it was curved then the corner cut option wont work. You will need to set your UCS onto the end of the beam then do a little 2D setting out and use the Polygon contour command

If you want to use the normal corner cut command you will need to model the kickflat as a twisted folded plates

Thanks Rob, the polygon contour method should suit me perfectly. Thanks.
