Trying to implement a new system at work, where we cut drawings from models via the cameras(using 0-3d models w/ labels as the drawing style for the camera.) In the DSM, i was able to change the object representation of beams to show up as widgets (shown in figure 1). This is perfect for what I need besides the fact that there should be a beam face/column showing in each of the corners of this plan view. I have also attached the styles in the DSM i am using.

Make a copy of the Beams rule. Move it above the original Beams line and set the rule for objects seen from Side/width and the presentation to visible.
On Full size shape representation it reads the geometry from the model, where the beam ends, that's where the 2D will display.
On Symbol or Single line representation, you can use the gap option. This will pull back the end of the system/single line in the 2D drawing from where it was originally drawn. This does not read the face or web of a column, only where the system lines end points are located in the 3D model.
You are not really able to leave a gap from an object. You can add a gap distance when using line or symbol but this only shortens the line displayed by x amount and does not recognize the other objects. For example, if you shorten the line by 1/2", when the beam is going to a column web this might be good but it would still be shortened by 1/2" when going to the column flange. The line is pulled back from the column center in both cases but not far enough in the second circumstance.
