Project List - Adding custom attributes to allow us to search/filter/organize projects better
Please allow custom attributes for projects in ACC. This would help us with long projects names and enable us to use attributes like "Client" Project Type" "Location"
That is what we recently looking for. We want move all our projects to ACC, but without this feature can be extremely hard to handle big numbers of projects
This is something that would be incredibly useful to us. To be able to access these custom attributes from the Insights tool and Forms would make them even more valuable.
I have thought this as well it would be nice to have a job abbreviation field or Nick name field that could be used for filtering or even applied to things like a PO Attention or delivery note that would help (receiving warehouse personnel quickly sort to which job a delivery goes to.
@lance.borst : I saw you marked this as accepted in Sept. 2024, is there any update on release? Having custom fields at the project level would be huge! It would be nice if this could even be a card on the project home screen and we can have permissions to edit based on role as opposed to requiring a project admin.
I am wondering if anybody from Autodesk is seriously following the suggestions made in this blog. If so, please treat the participants with a little more respect.
Case in point, this suggestion. It was accepted for implementation in September 2024 and since then complete radio silence. I can understand that other requirements might be more urgent, but at least let the contributors know. A quarterly (or even semi-annual) update would be great, even if that is of the type "did not make it, but still on the future list".
