Currently, Autodesk Construction Cloud only supports email-based notifications for updates such as document changes, task assignments, issue updates, and other project activities. While this is helpful, it lacks the convenience and efficiency of an in-app notification center or inbox, which has become standard in most modern collaboration platforms.
As a result:
- Users must rely solely on email to stay updated.
- Important updates can get lost in cluttered inboxes or overlooked.
- There is no centralized place within ACC to view a history or list of past notifications.
Requested Feature:
Introduce a Notification Center or Inbox panel within the ACC web interface (and mobile apps if possible), where users can:
- See all their project-related alerts in one place (issues assigned, RFIs, submittals, comments, approvals, etc.).
- Click to view the linked item directly from the notification.
- Mark notifications as read/unread or filter by type/date.
- Optionally mute or snooze notifications per project or tool (Docs, Build, etc.).
This feature would significantly enhance communication and usability within the platform. Thank you for considering this!
