Garment Maker Seam Problem

I have had a look through other garment problems but nothing seems to match my problem or help me. So I have made a new thread.

I get to the point where I need to seam the edges together. I have broke the vertices up so I can select each edge separately. I have no problems there. My problem is when I click one edge, I am supposed to hold ctrl and click the other side I want to seam but it automatically selects the edge opposite and when this happens it won't let me seam it. Does anyone know what the problem is. I can't find where I have gone wrong?

Never mind, I have now resolved that problem.
