I dunno for what reason Autodesk doing all this unnecessary changes like setting "smooth on" in "chamfer" dialog by default. Which is always breaking your smoothing groups and never do any useful work. And recently they changed a default behavior of chamfer type to Uniform... which was used in modeling and not only for making bevels... again who was even asking for that?!
But anyway...
Dear Autodesk, could you be so kind and add an ability to save default settings for each window in max, or at least use your head when you set something to default?
