Some times you accidentally enter a too high value for modifiers like turbosmooth or chamfer, which makes the computer go into a never-ending operation/calculation. Pressing esc or ctrl+z does nothing at this point. When this happens, the only solution is to accept that you've just lost all work done after last save, force quit 3ds Max, and resume from your last save point.
If we could get a feature that let's us cancel this operation and go back to before you typed in the too high value, it would be the greatest feature ever to be added to 3ds max.
