Most modern programming IDE have a solid debugger. I wouldn't ask for as much when it comes to MaxScript, but the script editor could be improved. As it stands, when a script encounters an infinite loop, there's no way to stop or cancel the process until 3DS Max eventually crashes. Someone who isn't careful and doesn't regularly save their work may end up with a lot of time wasted because of this. It would be very helpful to have a way to cancel the process of a script at any point during its execution. I know we can use the escape key to cancel a script execution normally, but that only works if the script is idle at that moment.
Thanks
