Problem with Modeling

Hello Everbody, let’s present myself my name is Juan Pablo you can call me vardam if my name is very difficult  and I’m living here in Guatemala, I’m a youtube you can find me but let’go to the point . I come here to 3d Studio max because I love so much the animation, creating chararcters and make them if they are living and I want to learn more about that. For the beginning my Apologies if my English is not the best It’s very hard to find someone to practice, I’m here on the forum because I’m study right the program 3d max and I need your Help. I having big problem about the Modeling, I watch So many videos on youtube but I’m still confusing, I  know there are 3 step to learn all the animation.

1. Modeling
2. Textures
3. Animation

I’m still in the Modeling because there so much and sometimes when I’m modeling the 3d Studio max 2016 bring me some error and turn off the program and for me I can’t make Cloth or any advanced modeling so I came here to find help.

Let me explain this, I’m Study in a school and my teacher told me I need to make an animation with my group and I need to complete at the end of this year. So my group is right now in the texture and this week going to enter to animation and I Still don’t understand.

Now here is the problem: I’m focus on the character, they will be an elfs like the legend of Zelda wind waker and will going to work with cellshading (This proyect will not going to sell this is only a practice proyect and fun)

Problem Number 1: The head

I made the head but I have problem to add the eye, the eyebrow, the eyelash and the ears to the head, I try many ways to add perfectly to the

head, using the conform but mostly of the time the eye are inside of the head or will not be see very good.

2. Hair : the hair going to be a big problem with me, i was trying to use the comand hair and fur but only get grass i wish to make more natural like this picture

or make hair like the zelda Style

3. the cloth: It's too hard to get a nice dress i been working on that like 5 hours and I can't make it, i try to make like zelda dress but it's too hard. someone know how to make it?

and for the last thing, if someone know some video that you can learn how to make chibi, i'll apreciate so much.

Welcome to the 3ds Max community!  

I want to help you here, but you are asking a lot of anyone to go over all the steps involved in doing these things.  If you have specific questions (such as: How to I get my eyes inside my head') you will have more responses from the community.  If you have technical issues, I can help you all day long if you make a new thread for each issue.  

The truth is that there are many things that must be learned to pull off what you are asking here.  It's not impossible by any means, but you have quite a few steps of learning ahead of you.  As hard as it seems, it would be best to break your issues up into separate threads.  

For the time being, I'd like to recommend that you please take a look at the tutorials that come with 3ds Max.  They are actually quite good and if you go through them you'll learn a lot about what you are trying to do here.  If you need any guidance I'm happy to help, but please... one issue at a time.
