Body Objects make sometimes strage corners

Hello

I import STEP data as body objects. I then render these using a farm. In some images, some vertecies shift strangely in space, creating corners that shouldn't be there. When I render the image again, the data is fine. It seems like some vertecies are not sitting in the right place. How does this behavior occur and how can I turn it off?

I work with Max 2023 And BackBurner to control the Farm.

That is weird.  I can only guess here.

1) Double check the farm machines have all the same updates to 3dsmax and the renderer.

2) Somehow the body objects are being interpreted differently by a machine, maybe due to a timeout or load time or who knows.  Some things that might help:

  1. Put an edit poly on top, should make the vert positions concrete.
  2. Try to weld the verts on the body object.  (If you haven't already.)
  3. Try a higher detail level on the body object.

Chances are one of those things will do the trick.

Best Regards,
