Batch Save Selected

Hello.

Is there a way in max to Batch "save Selected" on objects ? Or maybe a script?

I have a scene with many objects.
I want to select all objects and save them out individually as separate max files.

It will take quite a long time to go File>Save Selected on each one.

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

I created now this small macroscript that will help you do what you want.

Install it and create a toolbar for it. you'll find it under the category "autodesk_forum"

saveobjects.PNG

Here's the script:

If you never installed a macroscript before, here's a tutorial i made on Youtube to show you how:

Note: for the script to work you need to select at least one object. After you select click the button

A dialog will ask you for the folder you want to save your object in.

After selecting the path Max will save each object in a separate file using each object's name

As the file name

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply,
Here is the link for the script:

You need to look into the category called: "MiRi-Tools" instead of "autodesk_forum"

Hi,
I have a bit the same problem, but I need to save my objects in batch to separate JPEG files. I have all my objects in a certain viewpoint and want to make JPEG files of all of them separately. Do you maybe also have a script for this kind of problem?

Thanks a lot!
