3dsmaxcmd slow start for simple scenes

Hi guys,

need some help. I am trying to render a very simple scene, that actually takes a couple of seconds to render. But 3dsmaxcmd (2023) takes way too long to start.

For example, here I am just rendering a teapot.

I managed to disable all security tools editing the 3dsmax.ini, setting the values to 0... but that spared only 10-15 secs.

First, to my understanding, the Data Collection is taking around 30 secs to launch. I have tried to follow the tips here (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/artcam-forum/customer-involvement-program/td-p/7213382) to turn it off, but it does not seem to work. If anybody knows how to do this, that would be awesome.

Next, the Python initialization seems to take 2 minutes. Is there a way to avoid that? The project is not running any Python scripts, so those 2 minutes, are for me "wasted time".
After these, the next two frames finished rendering within 9 seconds...

So, is there a way to speed up this 2min50secs for a teapot scene?

I also tried, from this website: https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/3ds-Max-slow-to-st....

I tried the following:

- set maxstart: no improvement

- corrupted user pref: factory reset done, no improvement

- delete arnold: need it for rendering

- generate log file: using set 3DSMAX_STARTUP_TIME_TEST=1 before starting 3dsmaxcmd.exe did nothing, at least I found nothing at C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2023

Any other recomendations are welcome.

Regards,
Tinoxps

Update:
The problem is not the python library.. was reading the time wrong.
From the message "Product version ...." to "Data Collection..." needs somehow 35 secs. No idea what process is happening there.
From "Data Collection..." to Python, needs another 73 secs ... so maybe turning data collection could help spare this time. But no idea how to do that.

I have also tried it in a different environment, and for the exact same project it taking 40 secs to start.

I discovered it seems to be due to the connection to the license server.

This seems to be more of a statement than a  solution. What did you do to solve the issues as it relates to the "connection to the license server?" A few details on how you solved it would helps others with the same issue. Right now there is no way to know what you did.
