Thanks for your reply, I uninstalled and reinstalled all versions VC to the latest version. But unfortunately it didn't help.
I post all post-launch errors, including those related to Arnold:

Weird.  Did you reboot after uninstalling them?  

What happens if you uninstall Arnold, all works then?

I have a similar situation. I removed the Arnold renderer. This improved the loading of the program. But these errors have not disappeared. How to fix them?

Something may have gone wrong with your install.

You should not be seeing any issues with Substance.

Since Windows 7 has been deprecated by Microsoft and is no longer supported, it's not surprising to see these errors.

Can you confirm that you're trying to run 3ds Max 2023 and MaxtoA under Windows 7? If so, then that's not a supported configuration (Windows 10 and 11 only). Thanks,

Hi @viptory,

Again, please note that 3ds Max 2023 is certified to work under Windows 10 and Windows 11 only. Microsoft ended all Windows 7 support in January 2020, and we can't recommend running the latest versions of Max under it.

My advice (as painful as it may be) is to back up all your data, then upgrade your PC formally to Windows 10.
