Does anyone in the group know of a routine that is available to "Batch DXF out" a group of dwgs. at once rather than having to do them individually?
Thank you
M.
Hi,
what product (and version) do you work with? E.g. with Civil3D you can use command _AECCCIVILBATCHCONVERTER that let you do what you are looking for!

Use Vla-saveas method via script or ODBX

Hi,
I've attached a program that I hope helps you.
I had to name it BatchDXF-vlx.txt so that it could be posted.
Rename it to BatchDXF.vlx and the command to run it is BATCHDXF.
Regards,
Trevor
Trevor,
Thank you very much for offering this program. It looks exactly like what I was looking for.The questions I have are coming from a person that knows nothing of Visual Lisp so forgive me in advance!!!
I tried putting this routine in my "Startup Suite" & for some reason it doesn't load automatically. Is this normal?! Also, the brouse buttons appear to not function until I paste a directory path into the highlighted fields first, then they function.
Would I have to tweek this routine to work locally automatically with my fille structure.
Thanks again,
Mark
Hi Mark,
Please find attached an updated version.
Rename it to BatchDXF.vlx to use.
My apologies, I had a few things set for testing which I did not change or remove before posting originally.
The browse buttons should work correctly now.
File structure should not be a problem, you can select any source drawings folder and any target folder location.
The program does depend on the AutoCAD Express Tools being installed because it uses a function called "acet-ui-pickdir" which is provided by the Express Tools.
I am not sure why it did not load when using the Startup Suite, I tried it myself and it seemed to go to plan.
Please let me know how you go with this one.
Thanks.
Regards,
Trevor
